Here's a collage of a few shots of this Red-Shouldered Hawk I spotted in Maryland, roughly south of Baltimore about 10 miles.

Red-Shouldered Hawk!!! - 1 2 [3]
This was such a cool encounter.
I spotted this hawk while driving, and managed to make a u-turn, and park. I got out and was on the edge of a local park, and followed this bird around for an hour, and got as close as about 20 feet. It wasn't shy at all, but did keep an eye on me, and probably scooted off a bit when I got too close.
This is a Red-Shouldered Hawk. Photo shot on 1/22/2006.

Farewell Bros - 01/05/06 - 1 2 [3]
These 3 mosaics are from pictures taken of the three Sumatran Tiger Brothers Besar, Marah and Jalan, at the National Zoo in Washington DC.
If everything went according to the new plan, the 3rd tiger left the National Zoo today and arrived in Denver.
I had a great time over the past couple months watching and marvelling at these amazing animals. These 3 mosaics represent some of the coolest times.
